Avengers: Endgame is a american superhero film produced by Marvel Studios. It will be the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the culmination of Phase Three, concluding with its predecessor Avengers: Infinity War. The movie is directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor Odinson, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye, Don Cheadle as James "Rhodey" Rhodes / War Machine, Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, George Clooney as Dr. Selvig (returning from the mid-credits scene of Thor: The Dark World), Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa / Black Panther and Josh Brolin as Thanos.
Filming officially began on August 10th 2018 in Atlanta and will be wrapped up by January 2019 in Los Angeles. The film will be released in the USA on April 26, 2019.
The official trailer for Avengers: Endgame is currently running on all screens of the Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. The theme song 'Hooked on a Feeling' by Blue Swede is being played over the speakers at random intervals. Footage revealed by Disney employees includes shots of Banner and Stark arriving in Wakanda and footage of an end-credits scene revealing that Stephen Strange has survived his fall into a void and is being healed by Doctor Selvig.

In the mid-credits scene of "Thor: The Dark World", it is revealed that Loki, who was captured by Thor, has been brought to Earth by unknown individuals who also have his sceptre. When Loki asks what they plan to do with him, the unseen interlocutor demands he look at something. When Loki turns around, he sees Thanos (not yet wearing his Infinity Gauntlet) with the Tesseract in his possession. Thanos tells him that this is "the beginning".
